Muzzle Flash Alpha Test #1

Project Abstract

The Historical Online Learning Foundation is sponsoring the development for a replacement game engine for its Civil War Online web-based group interactive simulation. The selected technology to be explored is the Muzzle Flash system designed by Mal Gray, RAA. This game engine will undergo a series of tests and refinements during the 2d and 3d Quarters of 2005. The project goal is to have a working game system available to drive the CWOL 8 session in the winter of 2006.

Muzzle Flash 3 will undergo three phases: initial code development (completed), alpha testing validate the code changes and verify code stability, and beta testing to stress the stability of the game engine with a full player load.
