I cannot successfully send
orders or telegraphs. There are certain portions of the pictures which I
cannot view (resolution issues I assume), where there is something that I
should be able to see but it is off screen. There is more detail needed in
the manual to let people know how to navigate. Also I did not see in the
manual the method of determining where your units are located (method is to
go to operational map and click on a building). |

had the program installed, but was unable to
generate orders to load units on trains (it is now thought that the trouble
had something to do with Outlook Express.)
In trying to correct this problem, I uninstalled and installed the
program and now, then I had no graphics. Mal Gray shipped me some files
(battle_terrain.mdb & .exe ver16) that fixed the problem. |

I beleive the error lies in
ability to load the game for the start. If you cant do that easily the rest
becomes irrelevant. |

A lot of people are having
trouble figuring out that they need to download the turn results files to the
same folder that MF is in. I've assisted several people who have downloaded
turn results to their Temporary Internet Files folder and don't realize that
they then have to copy them over to the MF folder to use them. |

As newly appointe gov of Mo/Iowa
I sent in orders to build units and to alter the manufacturing schedule to
make more war materials. I also sent in an article to the newspaper.I could
not tell if they got through. I wrote and Mel confirmed receipt of my orders
and that everything seemed to work. I waited for the latest version of the
download. It is the correct version as I
have checked the numbers and compared to the download. Yet, what I get
on the screne is the same as version .14. No new news and no troops. I did
get an email in response to a question from Stephen S that new troops only
show up after we finish this round of troops movements.Beyond that it seems
to be working. I also did see that the nation map shows troops and locations
of forces that were not present in the first or version.14 so it apparently
is different this download than last. |
| Starting
from scratch with no troops is frustrating as we have nothing to do. If I was
not the gov I would be very bored. Perhaps each state could have a few units
of national guard like the home guard that existed in Ky that could be
converted to national service so we could have units to move. All in all glad
to be part of bets test |
