Synopsis

The Academy has four phases.

Phase 1- Cadet "Entrance Exam" - Applicants to the Academy must be able to install WBTS software and perform basic communication functions.
-
Phase 2- Plebe Year: the Parade Field - new cadets learn basic movement controls.
 
Phase 3- Yearling Year: the Firing Range - experienced cadets learn to use their primary weapon.
 
Phase 4- Upperclassmen Year(s): Field Craft - senior cadets learn navigation skills, basic skills needed to survive in the field, and embark on a naval or rail transport.
 
Graduation- Upon completion of all tasks, Cadets graduate and leave Academy control. Recent graduates will be presented to the President of the national team of their choice for subsequent assignment.

Entrance Exam

Once Applicants submit their petition to the Academy Registrar,  go here to begin the entrance exam.

 

Mission Statement

The Academy is provided to train candidate players of Civil War OnLine in the basics skills and knowledges required to play and enjoy the game. This course teaches students how to use the War Between the States (WBTS) software as well as allow the new players to gain some practical experience coordinating and issuing orders for basic unit functions. Graduates will be able to play WBTS at the entry level.

bulletApplicants not completing the Entrance Exam requirements within 15 days of application will be dropped from the rolls
bulletThe Commandant reserves the right to dismiss or re-cycle any cadet that fails to meet the requirements of the course as laid out by his Tactical Officer
