Civil War OnLine

"Civil War OnLine" (CWOL) is a military, economic, and political simulation of the American Civil War with both wargaming and roleplaying aspects. Currently, the software for CWOL is being re-engineered and has entered Beta testing. If you are interested in participating in Beta research testing, go to this URL to register as a playtester and receive the mandatory training. The first large-scale Beat users' test will commence in August 2007 .

Napoleonic Wars OnLine

The Napoleonic Wars OnLine (NWOL) is a multiplayer simulation of combat and diplomacy during the Wars of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars (approximately 1793 to
1815). NWOL is compatible with most browsers using Javascript - no software to load.

Historical Learning Foundation

The Historical Online Learning Foundation (HOLF) seeks to encourage the study of
American and world history through participation in interactive simulations presented via the World Wide Web.


Players Guild

The Players Guild is established to provide a central organization to maintain a listing of all players who participate in the various simulations and Web-based activities sponsored by the Historical Online Learning Foundation. Additionally, the Guild records the participation history of each member and his experience level based on involvement, and numbers of years participating. The Guild provides all members with information about pending Foundation activities and its schedule of Web-based simulations. There is no fee associated with Guild membership.
